About Our Owner
Hey D-Taxers. It is nice to meet you all😊. I want to take this moment to THANK YOU for visiting.
My tax journey started in 2006 simply helping family and friends here and there. In 2012 I obtained a job at H&R Block. I quickly realized that I was doing a lot of taxes incorrectly. After 2 years with the company, I decided it was finally time to go back to school. I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ashford University in 2017. The following year, I founded Distinctive Tax & More LLC. At the time we were solely a tax preparation company.
While working and starting a new business I continued my education. In 2019 I earned my master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. The following year, 2020, I earned my IRS Enrolled Agent license. Expanding my education afforded me the opportunity to offer additional services to my clients. It was time for a company revamp. In 2021 the company was renamed D-Tax Solutions LLC.
